The pedals or blooms of the hydrangea in this photograph are pale white with fine detail, as if they were ghost or apparitions suspended. The hydrangea at time of photograph were a pale blue with a tan center. They were photographed around 2008 as a digital raw file and processed in photoshop.

Solarized Sun Flower is from a 5 x 7 inch negative, and the effect of being solarized was created in photoshop.  I like the effect of contrast on a soft gray background,  The original black and white photograph is also part of my collection.

Pointed River Stone

"Pointed River Stone" was taken along the Davidson River in Pisgah National Forest< North Carolina on a camping trip. The aperture setting was F90 @ around 10 seconds which produced the soft effect to the water and the sharpness of the stone.

A breath of life, exhaled and inhaled in the vortex of fluid existence. Creation's scream of finality in leaving an imprint of what is and what was.
A breath of life, exhaled then inhaled, to ignite a  fate or destiny of existing in desperate spiritual fabrications of purpose.  Do we exist for any other purpose but existence?

Morning Glory First Light

"Morning Glory"  is a pale, floral trumpet haling the rising sun of early risers. 
I never printed this image in the darkroom that I remember.  For the life of me I don't know why I didn't.  The photograph is from a scanned 5 x 7 inch negative.

Oakscape Magic

"Oakscape Magic - The Joker" was created from an 8 x 10 inch tri-x negative using Photoshop.  The oaks in the "digital light drawing" creates an asymmetrical spatial perspective around a totem-like structure of surreal images.  The image in the center that stands out for me resembles the comic character "The Joker".
