The pedals or blooms of the hydrangea in this photograph are pale white with fine detail, as if they were ghost or apparitions suspended. The hydrangea at time of photograph were a pale blue with a tan center. They were photographed around 2008 as a digital raw file and processed in photoshop.

"Portrait of Jenny" was taken in the early eighty's.  Jenny is my neice by marriage.  The image is created from a digitally scanned 5 x 7 inch negative.

A seemingly sleeping fetal female form of soft gray tones lit by indirect window light.  "Nude By Window Light" is a study of light, tones and form.  One of a limited number of nudes I have photographed.  A form in innocence recline and peace in black and white.

Portrait of artist Enrique Vega was taken in the early 1980's.  Enrique is a master metal and photographic artist. "The Gate of Knowledge" is only one of his many creations.  We have been bothers and friends for thirty-two or more years.  He is one of a very limited number of people who have influenced my vision in art.  Without their influence my life in art would not exist.

In 1975 I was in school studying photography and "Child Portrait Untitled-1975 was a school project   photographing children.  The eyes capture your attention, then the expression.  She was a great model and easy to work with.  A beautiful child.  I have no idea what has become of her, but I hope she is having a good life.
